On Friday, Jillian Patchett from Diabetes UK attended our assembly to present us with the Good Diabetes Care in School Award. Mrs Gilmore (Callum's mum), also attended as she nominated us for the award last year.
We are one of eight schools in Northern Ireland to hold this award and it recognises that we offer good practice care and management to children with Type 1 diabetes.
