As part of Numeracy week, we have been investigating the properties of quadrilaterals. We have looked at sides, angles, diagonals, parallel lines and lines of symmetry. A quadrilateral is a shape with 4 sides - square, rectangle (oblong), rhombus, parallelogram, kite and trapezium.
We needed to rule carefully from corner to corner when drawing in diagonals and whenever lines of symmetry were present.
