Ashgrove's P6 football team travelled to The Valley Leisure Centre again to play their 2nd round tie of the Newtownabbey Cup against St Bernard's PS. After a very convincing win in the previous round against Earlview PS, the team were in a confident mood and put on a fantastic display running out 7-3 winners.
The boys looked every bit the part in our school's new team kit and hopefully we can continue our good run in the cup against our next opponents, Whitehouse PS.
A special mention of thanks to one of our parents, Emlyn at 365 Taxis, who helped us at very short notice with travel to and from our venue!
