We’re on our way, we’re on our way, on our way to Streamvale farm.
We had ‘the best day ever’, in the words of the boys and girls. Our day started with the excitement of going on a bus. When we arrived at the farm we had our snack. After we went to start our tour, on the way across the farm we saw the Dale Farm tanker arrive to collect all the milk and take it to the factory.
On our tour we went on a tractor ride, then we got to see and feed, pigs and piglets, sheep and lambs, hens and chicks, horses, ponies, rabbits, cows and calves, goats and kids and alpacas. We ‘milked’ a cow the old fashioned way. We were so busy being farmers that by lunchtime we were ready for our picnic. After our picnic we had a play on the inflatables.
