P1 went for a winter walk today. We wrapped up warm and put on our wellies. We saw lots of ice. It sounds crunchy when you walk on it. We got to touch the ice and feel how cold it is. Ice even sticks things together. We found out the sun melts the ice and grit does too. Our caretaker puts grit down to stop us from slipping. Our teachers even let us hold their hands to slide on the ice!
